TASTE lab
We are studying mammalian taste system
Taste decoding is mediated by three biological levels.
First, the taste cells on the surface of tongue that sense tastants.
Second, the intracellular signaling pathways in taste cells,
And last, the neural circuits relaying taste sensory information.
Our goal is to reveal the unknown mechanisms at all levels of the gustation.

Techniques
- Mouse genetics (Cre/lox, genome editing)
- Opto/Chemogenetics
- in vivo calcium imaging
- Organoid culture
